SSN/ITIN Shuttle (Fall 2012)
On Wednesday September
12, 2012 international students, scholars and IC staff took a trip to the
Mission Viejo Social Security office. The IC was very happy to help new internationals
with this process. Congratulations and thank you to all who participated.
English Conversation Program
The English
Conversation Program is an English improvement and practice forum that fosters
personal interaction between students of all cultures in a friendly and casual
environment. We meet every Monday from 4 to 5 pm at the CORE office (UCI
Student Center).
Each monday when you arrive, you will be handed questions which will help you and your English partner have an enriching conversation.
Follow these simple rules:
Speak in English.
Arrive early.
Keep the conversation friendly.
Fall 2012 quarter ECP sessions (Every Monday) from 4 to 5 pm:
October 1st
October 8th
October 15th
October 22nd
October 29th
November 5th
November 12th
November 19th
November 26th
Arrive early. The ECP promptly starts at 4:00 pm. arriving early will ensure that you are matched with an English partner. Missing more than 2 sessions will make you earn a NP No Pass.
Enrolment in a
University Affairs class is required for 1.3 units. You need a code to have
access to enrollment in the class. Sign up below:

Intl Coffee Hour
 Every Friday at 1:00 pm Location: UCI Counseling Center, Student Services I First fall 2012 meeting: October 12, 2012
The International Coffee Hour provides an opportunity to share culture and friendship in a casual and friendly environment. Topics of conversation are as diverse as the people that meet each week.
The goal is to relax and meet people from around the world. Free coffee, tea and light refreshments provided.

Weekly Travel Sessions
Traveling overseas is part of being an international student. In order to return to the U.S. after a trip to your homecountry or any other country, you must present a Travel Endorsement at the Port of Entry.
IC's Weekly Travel Sessions
No appointments necessary
Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
